FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

 

What are your charges for ramp fees?

 

Daily Parking/Ramp fees depend solely on the size of the aircraft and is based on whether fuel is purchased.  It is best to call or email ahead to obtain specific information on ramp fee charges. 

 

Why do you charge a ramp fee?

 

Our ramp fees are  low.  Our  fuel prices are EXTREMELY low compared to other FBOs in the area and  airports of similar size.  Additionally, our ramp fees are fair considering the high level of service that we provide to all customers regardless of size.  We provide red-carpet service, free water, free fresh-baked cookies, luggage assistance, use of courtesy vehicle and other consierge services without additional or hidden fees.

 

Most customers  recognize that LCS provides full-service fuel at self-service prices.

 

The Daily Parking/Ramp Fee for an aircraft is always waived with a fuel purchase.

 

Customers are NOT subject to daily parking fees if they are staying overnight.

 

Aircraft arriving multiple times on a single day are only subject to one daily parking fee.

 

What are your overnight parking fees?

 

Overnight parking fees depend solely on the size of the aircraft and length of stay.  The first night's Overnight Parking fee is always waived with a fuel purchase. 

 

It is best to call or email ahead to obtain specific information on charges. 

 

Are reservations required to use your FBO?

 

Everyone is treated to our premium, red-carpet service.  However, in order to prepare - especially during special events (such as NASCAR races) -  it is very helpful for us to know of your arrival.  You may make reservations by calling or utilizing the form provided on this website. 

 

Do you rent out Bay or T-Hangars?

 

All Bay and T-Hangars are rented on a monthly basis.  At this time, we have a waiting list. 

 

However, LSC is in the process of an expansion project in the near future that will cause changes in the current situation. 

 

Should you desire to be placed on a waiting list, please call and speak with a Customer Service Representative with that request.

 

Do you charge after-hours call-in fees?

 

After-hours call-in fees are charged from 9:45 p.m. until 07:00 a.m. Monday through Sunday.  Please call and speak with a Customer Service Representative during regular business hours for information on specific fees. Or, you may request information via e-mail.

 

Do you waive tie-down fees with the purchase of fuel?

 

No, as we have the lowest fuel prices of any other facility at KDAB (and on most of the Eastern United States).

 

Does LCS charge customers who only stay a few hours?

 

There are NO fees for customers who fly in only for a few hours to LCS.  However, a small charge of $10.00 (plus tax) is charged for a tie-down fee if fuel is not purchased or other services are required.

 

Do you have a restaurant at your FBO or offer catering?

 

We do not have a restaurant inside our facility, but we have catering services if you contact us in advance so that arrangements may be made.  Also, we are located very close to "restaurant row" where any type of cuisine can be found.

 

Do you have courtesy transportation?

 

Not at all times, it is best to call or email in advance to make arrangements for a courtesy vehicle, a rental car or a Taxi. 

 

Why are some charges or fees different during "Special Events"?

 

It is due to the large number of aircraft that we process during events such as "Speedweeks", "400" and "500" events. 

 

Do you offer charter service?

 

Not at this time.  Please refer to our LINKS tab for our recommendations.

 

Do you have a Flight Training School?

 

Not at this time.  However, we do work closely with training facilities that utilize our FBO and are located nearby.

 

Do you sell aircraft?

 

Again, not at this time. 

 

Do you perform aircraft maintenance?

 

Service to our clients is performed by "Precision Aircraft" located at our facility.  They may be reached by calling: 386-868-2787, or visiting our "Links" tab.

 

Do you welcome helicopters at your FBO?

 

Yes.  However, we request that we are contacted in advance via phone or email to make arrangements - especially in the case of larger helicopters -  to assure we have space available. You may use the RESERVATIONS tab on this website as does any type of aircraft when scheduling.

 

Are you hiring employees?

 

Not at this time, but you are always welcome to stop in to fill out an application for for future consideration.
